The Story
A few months ago my 2 year old daughter Grace was feeling under the weather, she had her first bad cold. I remember feeling so bad for her because when I'm sick, forget it, I am a big baby. But Grace, she kept on playing, runny nose and all. Anyway I wanted to cheer her up so I went out and got her a bouquet of flowers, she loved it... for about 2 minutes.
Anyway, a couple days later I noticed one of the roses had bloomed so beautifully, almost perfect. I grabbed my little Nikon P7000, a tabletop tripod and a lamp from the living room and captured this in our kitchen. Definitely one of my all-time favorite captures.
